Important Notice (For All Levels - HTET 2023):
1. Please check Appendix I in the notification for the detailed syllabus contents for Levels I, II, and III.
2. Candidates who are currently in their final year of the qualifying professional degree, as required by the eligibility rules, are eligible to apply for the HTET 2023 test. However, their candidature will only be considered by the appointing authority once they have met the minimum qualification requirements.
3. The requirement of having passed the "Secondary/Matric" examination with Hindi/Sanskrit, or having Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects, is applicable when applying for the position of Teacher and not for appearing in the HTET 2023.
Exam Pattern for HTET
The HTET 2023 exam format and content outline are structured as follows:

1. Complete online application: the HTET 2023 application process is entirely online. It offers the convenience of uploading a recent colored photograph, signature (with a white background and at least 60% visibility), and thumb impression. All required particulars will be entered online, and the scanned images should be in jpg format. We recommend keeping these images ready in advance.
2. Personal information: ensure that you enter your personal details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth as per your class 10/secondary certificate. Accurate information is essential for successful application submission.
3. Online application submission: candidates can apply online via the HTET website at www.htet2023.in. Fill in all the necessary information, and upload scanned images of your recent colored photograph, signature, and thumb impression as specified.
4. Confirmation page: after successfully submitting your data and paying the required fee through the payment gateway, make sure to print the confirmation page for your records. There is no need to send this confirmation page to the board office.
5. Issues with confirmation page: if a confirmation page is not generated after payment, please contact the assistant secretary (special exam cell) of the board immediately, providing proof of fee payment for consideration in HTET 2023.
6. Online corrections: candidates can make online corrections in their particulars, such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, identification proof & number, and subject opted (level 2 & 3) between 11th November 2023 to 12th November 2023. 7. Limited correction scope: corrections can be made online within a specified timeframe, including changes to particulars, photos, signatures, thumb impressions, levels, caste category, physically challenged status, and home state. No offline correction methods, such as fax, application, or email, will be accepted. Please be aware that changes in particulars will not be entertained after the specified online correction period ends.
8. Multiple applications: submitting more than one application or registration for the same level will result in the cancellation of a candidate's candidature and may lead to debarment from future examinations. No communication will be made in this regard.
9. Accuracy is crucial: providing false, incorrect, or inaccurate information may lead to the cancellation of your test result, forfeiture of your certificate, and potential prosecution.
