  • World Thinking Day is celebrated every year on 22 February.
  • The day is celebrated by Girl Scouts, Girl Guides and other girl groups to give a platform to girls around the world to think of each other and to thank and appreciate the "Sister" Girl Scouts and Girl Guides.
  • The history of World Thinking Day began when in 1926, during the Fourth World Conference of the World Guides and Girl Scouts Association, delegates from all over the world decided to meet at Camp Edith Massey in New York to create a day for Guides and Girl Scouts.
  • The theme of World Thinking Day 2024 is Our World, Our Thriving Future: Environment and Global Poverty.
  • World Thinking Day aims to strengthen and empower friendships and sisters bonds among young women.
