India-Saudi Arabia Joint Military Exercise 'SADA TANSEEQ' begins in Mahajan, Rajasthan.
The Exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 29th January to 10th February 2024.
The Saudi Arabian contingent, represented by the Royal Saudi Land Forces, consists of 45 personnel. The Indian Army contingent, represented by a Battalion from the Brigade of the Guards (Mechanised Infantry), also comprises 45 personnel.
The aim of the exercise is to train troops from both sides for Joint Operations in Semi-Desert terrain, in accordance with Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
The exercise will focus on sharing best practices in tactics, techniques, and procedures for conducting operations in the sub-conventional domain. Specific training activities include the establishment of a Mobile Vehicle Check Post, Cordon & Search Operations, House Intervention Drill, Reflex Shooting, Slithering, and Sniper Firing.
