  • India-Saudi Arabia Joint Military Exercise 'SADA TANSEEQ' begins in Mahajan, Rajasthan.
  • The Exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 29th January to 10th February 2024. 
  • The Saudi Arabian contingent, represented by the Royal Saudi Land Forces, consists of 45 personnel. The Indian Army contingent, represented by a Battalion from the Brigade of the Guards (Mechanised Infantry), also comprises 45 personnel.
  • The aim of the exercise is to train troops from both sides for Joint Operations in Semi-Desert terrain, in accordance with Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
  • The exercise will focus on sharing best practices in tactics, techniques, and procedures for conducting operations in the sub-conventional domain. Specific training activities include the establishment of a Mobile Vehicle Check Post, Cordon & Search Operations, House Intervention Drill, Reflex Shooting, Slithering, and Sniper Firing.
