Surya Kiran joint military exercise is organized between the armies of India and Nepal.
In the year 2023, this exercise is being conducted from 24 November to 7 December.
It is being organized in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand.
This is the 17th edition of Surya Kiran joint military exercise.
In this military exercise, joint exercises are conducted on events like jungle warfare, countering terrorist incidents in the mountains, humanitarian assistance etc.
Its previous edition was held in Saljhandi, Nepal.
