  • Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated India's first green hydrogen plant at Jindal Stainless Limited, Hisar. The plant is the world's first off-grid green hydrogen plant built for the stainless steel industry.
  • The project will reduce the carbon footprint in the next two decades by about 2,700 metric tonnes per year and 54,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide in the interval.
  • With the launch of the National Green Hydrogen Mission, the target is to make India a global hub for green hydrogen and its use and export at a cost of about twenty thousand crore rupees.
