World Badminton Championships bronze medallist B Sai Praneeth on Monday announced his retirement from international badminton, ending his successful career during which he won the Singapore Open and also represented India at the Tokyo Olympics.
Praneeth will transition into a new role as the head coach of Triangle Badminton Academy in the USA starting from mid-April. This move signifies a shift in focus towards mentoring young players and contributing to the development of badminton globally.
Praneeth expressed his gratitude towards his family, coaches, support staff, and various organizations including Pullela Gopichand Academy, Badminton Association of India, and Sports Authority of India, acknowledging their unwavering support and contributions to his journey in badminton.
