Adani Defence and Aerospace unveiled South Asia’s largest ammunition complex in Kanpur, inaugurated by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, marking the first phase of the state’s defence corridor.
Spread across 500 hectares in Kanpur district, the Adani Ammunition Complex will commence production of arms, ammunition, rockets, and artillery shells in March.
The facility aims to produce high-quality small, medium, and large calibre ammunition for the armed forces, paramilitary forces, and police, contributing to India's quest for self-reliance in defense production.
