The Indian women's team registered a crucial win in the World Team Table Tennis Championship by defeating Hungary 3-2.
Manika Batra defeated Georgina Pota 3-0 in the decider to make India victorious.
The first match against Hungary was also won by Manika Batra, the second match was won by Hungary's Georgina Pota and equalized 1-1. After this, the third match was won by India's Ahika Mukherjee and the fourth match was named after Hungary's Dora Madrasas. With this, the two countries came to a 2-2 draw.
