Indian musicians Shankar Mahadevan, Zakir Hussain, Rakesh Chaurasia, Selva Ganesh V and Ganesh Rajagopalan were honoured with the Grammy Awards.
The 66th Grammy Awards proved to be special for India, as Ustad Zakir Hussain won three awards in Los Angeles, USA.
Not only Zakir Hussain, singers Shankar Mahadevan, V Selvaganesh and violin Ganesh Rajagopalan's band "Shakti" also won the Grammy Award in the "Best Global Music Album" category for "This Moment".
The tabla player and music composer won the important award in the 'Best Global Music Performance' category for 'Pashto'.
Shakti's win was declared in the 'Best Global Music Album' category for the album 'This Moment'.
These Indian musicians won three awards from the Grammy Awards, which made the nation proud and stirred up among stars like Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.
