Three young Indian scientists win prestigious UK award

Three young Indian scientists, Rahul R Nair, Mehul Malik, and Tanmay Bharat have received the prestigious Blavatnik Prize in Britain.
The Blavatnik Prizes recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions of early-career scientists in a variety of fields.
The award ceremony will take place at a black-tie gala event in London on February 27.
The total grant amounted to £480,000, supporting promising researchers such as Nair, Malik and Bharat.
Awarded for his work in materials physics, Rahul R Nair has developed innovative membranes using 2D materials with potential applications in energy-efficient separation and filtration.
Professor Mehul Malik's research in quantum physics focuses on harnessing high-dimensional entanglements for secure quantum communication over long distances
Both Bharat and Malik will receive the grant, along with other awardees, to further their research endeavours.
